Hello. I am Martha Heniser. I am reaching out on behalf of my brother, Justin Cline, and his wife, Jeanie. As many know Justin has been battling polycystic kidney disease for many years, going on dialysis early in 2019. Since that time, Justin has struggled not only with his kidney health but chronic pain as well. Throughout Justin’s health journey he and Jeanie have been incredibly strong and resilient, rarely asking for help with anything. Jeanie has been a selfless caregiver in every way.
In September Justin developed an infection in his leg and on September 23rd he learned that he would need to have part of his leg amputated below the knee. On September 25th he had the surgery.
Justin has been working hard on his recovery, participating in intensive occupational and physical therapy, eager to be able to go home as soon as he can. He is full of positivity and motivated to learn how to live and function as an amputee.
Unfortunately, there are a few things that must be done to prepare Justin’s and Jeanie’s condo to make it accessible for him. They will need to fully remodel a bathroom, and install a ramp, allowing him to enter their home. Initial estimates for these larger projects are at around $25,000. For the first time, Justin and Jeanie are asking for some financial support. We are humbly coming to our friends and family asking for your support so Justin can return to the comfort of his own home when he’s finished with rehabilitation.
We also ask for your ongoing prayers for both Justin and Jeanie as they navigate this new situation.
