Our son, Justice, is a joyful, loving, and incredibly strong 7-year-old who is courageously fighting recurrent medulloblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. Through every surgery, treatment, hospital stay, setback, and victory, our family has continued to hold tightly to our faith and trust that God is with Justice every step of the way.

Justice was first diagnosed with medulloblastoma in February 2025. He underwent brain surgery followed by months of intensive chemotherapy and stem cell transplants. After completing treatment, we were so grateful to receive stable scans and begin watching Justice get back to simply being a kid again.

Then, in July 2026, our world changed once more when we learned that Justice’s cancer had returned. Multiple tumors were found in his brain, along with additional tumors in his spine. Justice underwent another major brain surgery, where the tumors in his cerebellum were successfully removed. We are incredibly thankful to God for carrying him safely through such a difficult surgery.

Justice is now in inpatient rehabilitation, working hard every day to regain his strength, balance, coordination, and mobility while also undergoing proton radiation treatments. There is still a long road ahead, but we continue to remind ourselves that we do not walk this road alone.

As Justice’s mom and dad, our greatest priority is being present for our son through every part of this journey. Our days are currently centered around hospital stays, radiation treatments, rehabilitation, therapies, appointments, transportation, and caring for our family. At the same time, we are caring for Justice’s 1-year-old baby sister, Genesis, and doing our best to give both of our children the love, attention, and stability they need while our family navigates this difficult season.

My husband, Xavier, is a firefighter, and the time he needs to be away from work so that we can care for Justice together has also placed additional financial strain on our household. Between making sure one of us can be beside Justice and making sure Genesis is safely cared for, there are many moving pieces that we are trying to manage as a family.

We are creating this fundraiser because so many people have asked how they can help our family during this season. Donations will help us with household expenses, transportation and gas between the hospital and radiation center, meals, childcare for Genesis when we need to be with Justice, medical-related needs, and the many unexpected expenses that come with having a child in cancer treatment. This support will give us the ability to focus more of our energy where it belongs—on loving Justice, encouraging him, being beside him as he heals, and keeping our family together through it all.

But above everything else, we ask for your prayers.

Please pray for complete healing over Justice’s body. Pray for strength when he is tired, peace when he is afraid, wisdom for every doctor and therapist caring for him, and endurance for the road ahead. We believe in the power of prayer, and even in the moments when we cannot see what God is doing, we are choosing to trust Him.

Justice is so much more than his diagnosis. He is our son. He is a big brother. He is funny, smart, loving, and full of personality. He loves Spider-Man, Legos, Play-Doh, slime, Hot Wheels, and all the things a 7-year-old boy should be able to enjoy. Cancer may be part of Justice’s story right now, but it does not define who he is.
