My name is Minon and I'm raising funds for Justice for Animals.
About : Justice for Animals is a nonprofit organization headed by Tashiya Captain. We focus on rabies eradication via humane population control: Spay-Neuter-Vaccinate-Treat-Feed programs.
If you've ever visited Sri Lanka you'll notice there are homeless cats and dogs everywhere!
There are over 2.5 million homeless animals; malnourished, dehydrated, sick, wounded and in constant danger of being run over. Spaying and neutering is the only way to improve the situation of homeless animals and end future suffering of innocent lives.
What we have achieved : We've completed 27 animal health camps this year alone. See the map below for our work thus far — where we've been, what we've done and how many animals we've helped!!!
Helping a lot of animals requires a lot of work and a lot of funding and we can't do it alone. We are in desperate need of your help!
Please watch video of the Thanthirimale Animal Health Camp

Goal : We're appealing for funds to help us settle part of the vet bill for the 5-day spay-neuter-vaccinate-treat-feed camp conducted in Thanthirimale from 6th - 10th October 2020.
We treated 488 animals = Rs. 625,000 (approx US$ 3370)
Where : Thanthirimale is a rural village, located 232 km from the capital city, Colombo, in the Anuradhapura District of Sri Lanka. The village is known by locals and tourists alike for the ancient Buddhist temple, Thanthirimale Raja Maha Vihara. It is a rural area with no access to vet facilities and an area in desperate need of our health camps.
Facebook & Instagram : Please visit our social media pages to contact us or learn more about our work.
