Help Us Lay Anayah Moore to Rest

We are heartbroken to share that our beautiful daughter, Anayah Moore, passed away on May 24, 2025, due to medical negligence by Loma Linda Children’s Hospital.

Anayah was taken to different hospitals after complaining of a severe headache, Fatigue & vomiting. Though sinusitis was suspected by first hospital, her condition was dismissed with antibiotics. She was then taken to Loma Linda Children’s Hospital because her symptoms weren’t improving. While only partially responsive, she was given a “ migraine,cocktail” , intended to mask her pain rather than treat the cause, and was sent home. The doctor excused her lack of responsiveness by saying she was “just sleepy.”

Her condition continued to worsen. She was then taken to another hospital, where doctors immediately performed a CT scan, diagnosed her with sinusitis, and rushed her back to Loma Linda Children’s Hospital for emergency brain surgery. But by then, it was too late. After 20 days on life support, Anayah was declared brain dead. The official cause of death was listed as a principal brain abscess, a condition that could have been treated if caught in time.

We are now facing the unbearable grief of losing our daughter, along with the burden of funeral expenses.
