Shelbi Lynn Milburn was involved in a situation where she lost her life Sunday, October 17th, 2021. Shelbi was born January 29th 2001. She was the daughter of Daniel and Amy Milburn. The 3rd child of six children, her sisters Abigail, Karri, Grace, Emily, and brother Danny Milburn. Early Sunday morning Shelbis father had received a phone call around 2:50am, and was told that Shelbi was involved in a shooting incident that took her life. There are so many unanswered questions, many of them will not be answered for weeks to come. The initial reports tell us that this was not self inflicted. There is an ongoing investigation and we cannot go into any further detail at this time. We know many of you would like answers and there are several questions we would like the answers to as well, but there are a few things we know for sure...Shelbi was a beautiful person both inside and out. For the people who knew Shelbi, she could brighten up any room she walked into. Her smile, her laugh, over all her personality. If you were close to Shelbi, you knew she was very special. She cared about people especially those dear to her so deeply that she would be willing to do whatever was needed to prove it. She's a person that would drop everything she had going on to be there for someone she cared about. After Shelbis accident 4 years ago that nearly took her life, she began to put life in perspective and started really focusing on her future. She started collage and found a renewed commitment in her relationship with Jesus Christ. This was so unexpected, and never would we have thought for a second we would loose her, especially the way we did. But each of us are better for having her for the time that we did.. Thank you Lord for blessing this world with the presence of of such a beautiful girl and thank you to everyone who has said a prayer and stood in support of our family at this time. #JUSTICE4SHELBI #Love4Shelbi
