QUINCY'S MCCANTS ROAD TO RECOVERY
Hello...My name is Bree Myers. Quincy is my nephew.
He was critically injured in a hit and run accident while riding a dirt bike on Sept. 27, 2017. The driver (still unkown), hit him and knocked him off the bike, then dragged him for a couple hundred feet. My nephew was critically injured. He is having vision issues, he has road rash on over 70% of his body, his left thumb was broken, his left leg was broken, a massive laceration to his right elbow and arm, a cerebral hemorrhage on the brain, a broken jaw, broken chin, multiple massive "open" lacerations to his leg, and right side of his torso area. Those large lacerations and the massive amount of road rash covering his body has caused him to be transferred to JMS BURN CENTER in Augusta Ga, where he will remain for the rest of his care. Quincy has had 4 surgeries already and still had several more to go. Doctors have said he will remain in hospital for at least 4 more weeks, maybe more depending on his progress. His medical bills are mounting, not to mention the extensive care he will need once he comes home. ANY and ALL donations to assist Quincy will be greatly appreciated.
