JUSTICE for DAMARION-Stop Random Acts of Violence

Most of you know Damarion because he recently joined Bike Life and have become friends with many of us who ride bikes downtown.
To start, the incident I am referring to was not an ACCIDENT! This was a RANDOM ACT OF ASSAULT and FAILURE TO RENDER AID. Possibly even a reason that could be worse.
Around 4pm on April 18, 2022 at the intersection of 800 Holmes St./Travis St. (in front of a bar), a drunk man walked out of the establishment and attacked Damarion on his bike. Damarion had just stopped at the light in front of the establishment to use his cell phone to call another bike rider, when he was assaulted off his bike by the unknown suspect, leaving him unconscious.
We learned later that when regained conciseness in the ambulance, his whole jaw was broke.
He was sent to the Memorial Herman Hospital on the April 18 and was scheduled for surgery on the 20th, but since the insurance couldn’t cover it, he was then sent to Texas Children's Hospital on the 22nd. was released the 23rd.
At his follow up appt for surgery consult, he was admitted because his labs were critical. His body is not retaining fluids, so that’s the current status as of today, as he is STILL in the hospital...
They are still investigating this incident, which includes charges for an Unknown Suspect for Assault/Bodily Force. Justice needs to be served for Damarion. The suspected person responsible has been identified, but there is still an investigation until confirmed.
I created this GoFundMe for him and his family for medical bills, dental bills, legal representation, etc. which will more than likely exceed the amount of $10,000.00.
