Justice for Cyrus Carmack-Belton

Donation protected
We have started this GoFundMe to help support the family of Cyrus Carmack-Belton and preserve Cyrus's legacy as a young man by establishing a scholarship in his name supporting art/trade school for aspiring tattoo artists, fundraising programs to spread awareness on gun violence and racial profiling, and by helping to maintain his memorial site and bench.

Cyrus Carmack-Belton was 14 years old, he was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina. He was the youngest son of Nicole Carmack-Belton and Troy Belton. He loved to smile, play video games, draw art for tattoos, and go on long walks.

On Sunday, May 28th, Cyrus was shot and killed outside of a convenience store in Columbia, South Carolina. He was shot in the back after being racially profiled for shoplifting. His life was cut incredibly too short.

We ask for your financial support so that we can preserve Cyrus's memory and prevent tragic injustices like this from ever happening again. Cyrus was not just a 14 year old boy-Cyrus is a movement. We will not be silenced. We stand together in love, unity, and purpose. #Justice4Cyrus #BlackLivesMatter.
