I am Crystal Mason. I was convicted and sentenced for a non-violent white collar offense in 2011. I cast a provisional ballot in the 2016 elections and was convicted of illegal voting in 2018. My time for the 2011 offense was complete but I was on supervisor release. Since 2018 I have been fighting a sentence of 5 years jail time. I am still in this fight I have fought to safe my house I have fought to keep a job I am still fighting for my freedom With your help I have not been fighting this battle alone. I am so grateful for the petitions and articles . You have helped me so much it inspired me to start my crystalmasonthefight.org organization. This journey has changed my life and my family lifes. I am committed to educating ex-offenders, the youth and the community on why voting is important. I have 12 I family members that are deputized to register you to vote in Tarrant & Dallas County. This journey has been an educational process & I want to share & spread knowledge of how important your voice is.
