My name is Quetzali Nuñez. On Monday, March 10th, my dog of 12 years, Bruno, was murdered by another dog.

My mother (Araceli) was out on a regular walk when the owner of the other dog lost control of it and came after my mother. The dog bit her and Bruno. There were multiple witnesses to this attack, including our family friend who drove my mother and Bruno to the nearest emergency pet hospital. Bruno was bit in the stomach and side of his body and bleeding profusely.

When me and my father arrived to the hospital, it would be the last time we would see Bruno alive. The veterinarians told us that if they've done surgeries on other dogs in the same situation, and most made it out alive.

We were then presented with the cost of the surgery $6250.49, We tried negotiating the price, but ultimately they told us that they wouldn't perform the surgery without half or more of the payment. We had to take out what ever savings we had to pay the minimum of $3150.24

Bruno had so much trauma to the lungs and bruising, he flat-lined during surgery.

My mother is recovering mentally and emotionally from this attack. She has been taking antibiotics for the wonds

The owner of the dog has been identified, but hasn't come forward to turn in his dog to be quarantined. Supposedly, this isn't the first time that this dog has attacked other animals and people.

Please, All I ask is that Bruno's story is shared and to bring awareness to pet safety! All proceeds will go back towards paying the vet bill off & medical bills.
