The National Black Women's Justice Institute (NBWJI) is an organization focused on the reduction of racial and gender disparities in the justice systems affecting Black women, girls, and their families. We conduct research, provide technical assistance, engage in public education, promote civic engagement, and advocate for informed and effective policies.
Our leading projects include: 1) interrupting school to confinement pathways for girls, 2) expanding the opportunity landscape for formerly incarcerated women, and 3) capacity-building for African-American serving organizations in the fight to end gender-based violence.
We appreciate whatever you might to be able to give to support these efforts.
Thank you for you time and remember, together, we succeed!
