Our family is heartbroken. On December 27, 2025, our beloved 13-year-old Terrel Byars Jr. was tragically hit by a car while walking to the store with friends in West Mifflin. He suffered severe injuries, including brain damage, and despite emergency surgery, he passed away.

Terrel was full of life, love, and laughter. He had dreams, friends, and a bright future that was taken from us far too soon. Our family is devastated and struggling to cope with this unimaginable loss.

We are raising funds to help cover funeral expenses and other costs associated with this tragedy. Additionally, any support will help us advocate for justice and bring awareness to this situation, so that no other family has to experience a loss like this.
