Rosalia A. Mariscal, lovingly known as Lina, was a devoted daughter, aunt, sister, cousin, and friend. She was always there for those she loved, bringing joy and laughter wherever she went. Lina was the life of the party, always ready for a road trip or vacation, and her adventurous spirit was matched only by her deep love for her four-legged babies, Daisy and Chewbacca. Her kindness and warmth touched everyone she met, and she had so much more life and love left to give.

On March 16, 2026, Rosalia was involved in a fatal car accident while she was walking her dog; she was struck by the vehicle and was found unconscious by witnesses. Her sudden and tragic death has left our family without answers. The Newark Police Department is still investigating the circumstances, and we are left navigating this unimaginable loss without closure. Lina’s absence is felt deeply by everyone who knew her, and we are doing our best to honor her memory while facing the challenges ahead.
