We, the Justice Movement Uganda, a dedicated student and youth-led climate activist group, are facing a grave crisis. Two of our members were brutally arrested and beaten by the police while actively fighting climate injustices, including the EACOP. They are now in critical condition in the hospital. Others among us are receiving ominous calls from unknown individuals, intimidating us to halt our climate action.

For our safety and to continue our vital work, we must relocate to a secure location. We urgently need financial support to clear our medical bills and facilitate this move. Our goal is to raise 5000€ to aid our injured activists, ensure their recovery, and provide a safe environment for the entire group.
