Justice June Danh Alagille Syndrome Journey

Dear Family, Friends, and Kindred Spirits:

There is a saying I heard and find very true at this moment "It takes a village to raise a child". John and I are calling out to the village, we are reaching out and asking if you can help with raising funds for our family. We are going through an emotional, financial, and mental rough journey. We hope that by raising these funds it will be one less burden to worry about during these times.

Since the day Justice was born she has been a warrior going through varies MRIS, XRAYS, CT SCANS, BLOOD DRAWS,etc... through all this she has kept her smile and silly sense of humor. She is resilient and I feel her energy for life. Although her spirit is strong her body has been taken by Alagille Syndrome an illness that affects each patient differently. For our daughter she has several medical issues and she has been labeled as a complex case. Currently the two major medical issues that need to be addressed are her vascular ring and her liver that is failing.

On August 10th Justice had several exams that determined that her Cardio Vascular Ring is becoming an issue. She will be having surgery on September 27, 2023. Also the exams determined that her liver is progressively worsening and she will be needing a liver transplant surgery sooner than we had hoped for.

Justice is being seen and treated at Rady's in San Diego, but they don't perform surgeries on children under 12 years old at the moment so the surgeries, follow ups, etc... have to be done at Rady's in Los Angeles. Although our family is applying for the Ronald Mcdonald foundation and several charities and foundations to help us, nothing has been guaranteed and for several things we have not qualified for.

The amount we are asking for is what I calculated for 3months of expenses worse case scenario to help us with traveling costs going to Los Angeles and coming back to San Diego, Hotels, Food, Monthly bills for time that will be missed at work, etc.
