Justice for Victims of Klein ISD Scandal

February 21st 2023, a report was made by an unnamed employee of Klien ISD to school officials to provide evidence of a fellow co-workers (Keidra Grisby) behavior concerning alleged aid of prostitution, and overall gross misconduct with students on campus. This report was made as a concerned teacher, but also a parent.

Grisby, a former cosmetology teacher at Klien ISD, aided and assisted her son Roger Magee, in recruiting young women - in vulnerable states - from the classroom, to her son’s prostitution ring. Following her eventual arrest, she was charged with six counts, three each for prostitution and sex trafficking. Although the report was made in February of 2023, Grisby remained an employee – with no investigation- until April of 2024. Klein ISD violated Texas Title IX, which is a civil rights law, and neglected to follow state protocol.

There are many young girls who have been victimized and taken advantage of throughout the course of the full calendar year she remained on campus, while officials stood by and turned a blind eye to the reports they had received. The reporting teacher however was penalized for her outcry as a professional and a parent to one of Grisby/Magee’s victims.
