Hello, my name is Tyrell Hall, and I am seeking justice after being wrongfully terminated by Brink’s and wrongfully arrested while performing my duties as a licensed armored transport officer.
On January 14, 2025, I was stopped and arrested by a Cobb County police deputy while performing my assigned duties at Kennesaw Town Center Mall. My vehicle was an unmarked armored van provided by Brink’s management, legally registered and insured. During the interaction, I was verbally questioned about the van, and when I responded, the situation escalated. I was charged with Driving/Illegal Parking and Obstruction/Hindering Law Enforcement, even though I did not physically resist or interfere with the deputy. My constitutional rights, including Fourth and Fifth Amendment protections, were violated during this arrest.
The criminal charges were later dismissed on September 3, 2025, after I successfully defended myself in court. However, that same day, when I tried to return to work, Brink’s informed me that I had been terminated. I had previously been under investigation, instructed not to report to work, and never given clear communication or notice regarding my employment status.
This wrongful termination has had a devastating impact on my livelihood, my ability to support myself, and my well-being. I have since received my Right to Sue letter from the EEOC and am pursuing legal action against both Cobb County Police Department and Brink’s Incorporated.
I have taken many steps to advocate for myself, but I now need professional legal representation to ensure my case is heard fairly. Legal fees are substantial, and I am unable to cover them on my own.
Your support will help me hire an experienced civil attorney who can fight for justice on my behalf. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings me closer to being able to pursue this case and hold those responsible accountable.
I deeply appreciate your generosity and support during this challenging time. Thank you for helping me seek justice.
