THREE HOME DEPOT CATS ARE STILL UNACCOUNTED FOR

For years, a managed colony of community cats lived at the Lake City Home Depot. They were known. They were cared for. They were monitored. They had been spayed or neutered through TNR.

Then everything changed.

A local feeder (not any member of The Ranch Rescue) arrived to find two cats deceased near their feeding area. Shortly afterward, she was trespassed from the property.

Home Depot corporate later acknowledged that the remaining cats had been removed by a third party company.

Today, three cats are still unaccounted for.

Since becoming involved, The Ranch Rescue has repeatedly asked the same basic questions:

Who physically trapped the cats?

What company or individual was responsible?

Where were they taken?

Who received them?

What documentation exists showing their chain of custody?

And most importantly, where are they now?

Instead of receiving one clear, consistent explanation, Home Depot corporate has changed its response to us three separate times.

What has not changed is this:

Three cats remain unaccounted for.

The Ranch Rescue is now offering an initial $500.00 reward for credible information that can be substantiated and independently verified and that identifies the company and/or individual who physically trapped and removed the cats.

This GoFundMe has been created for one purpose:

The Ranch Rescue has committed the first $500.00

Every single dollar raised through this fundraiser will be added directly to the reward amount.

The larger the reward becomes, the greater the chance that someone with credible information will come forward.

We are not looking for rumors, speculation, or public accusations.

We are looking for proof.

Photographs.

Video.

Invoices.

Work orders.

Emails.

Messages.

Vehicle information.

Witness statements.

Company records.

Any documentation that can be independently verified.

If you have information, your identity and information will be kept confidential. You may contact The Ranch Rescue privately, and we will handle credible tips discreetly.

Someone knows who trapped these cats.

Someone knows what vehicle they were placed into.

Someone knows where they were taken.

Someone knows what happened after they left that property.

And we need that person to come forward.

These cats were not invisible.

They were part of a managed colony by an independent feeder, not any member of The Ranch Rescue. They had people who cared about them, people who watched over them, and people who expected them to still be there.

Now three of them are unaccounted for.

This is about transparency.

This is about accountability.

This is about establishing a clear chain of custody and finding out what happened to three animals who cannot speak for themselves.
