Justice for Terri's injury and pain

For over 25 years, our dear friend, Terri Barbagallo, enjoyed a successful career as one of the top film / video editors in her field. Now, sadly, she finds herself physically disabled and in near financial ruin, triggered by (what should have been) a routine medical examination.

An excruciating injury, caused by a negligent OBGYN, instantly transformed Terri’s life into an ongoing nightmare. An odyssey of chronic pain, social isolation, and endless legal setbacks was set into motion on that day that has now persisted for over 10 years.

With no cure or surgical procedure available to repair the damage, Terri remains in a state of constant anguish, making the active life she once enjoyed a virtual impossibility. Her condition is identified as Severe Chronic Pelvic Pain and Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, both of which unfortunately are extremely difficult to treat. Patients suffering from these conditions have shown the tendency to progress into an even more severe state... at times even proving fatal.

It has now become essential that Terri remain in costly regular treatments in order to manage her permanent condition. However, with some of these treatments not covered by medical insurance, the costs have proven to be a devastating burden during an already difficult time.

But now, there is a spark of hope! A new legal team has agreed to fight for justice for Terri’s chronic pain injury. They will work to ensure a victorious legal outcome that will make ample provision for her ongoing medical care and her necessary lifestyle modifications.

As a stipulation of their involvement in her legal action, the litigators have required that Terri absorb the considerable up-front costs for medical experts that will testify on her behalf. These professionals will present key scientific data as it relates to Terri’s injury.
