(2/14/24) I got a text that my sister was brutally assaulted at her home in Kearney while her kids were home, and her husband was at work. She was strangled, beaten and left for dead. Right now Stacy is in the icu with multiple fractures to her face, and significant bruising to her body. Stacy is conscious and she’s able to say a few words but still Is unable to open her eyes and the swelling needs to go down significantly. Stacy has a artery in her neck that is also not working properly from the attack so she will need to be on blood thinners for a few months, and they are monitoring it for LOW risk of a stroke. Please keep Stacy, and her family in your thoughts and prayers. Her children are safe, and her husband is bed side at the hospital with her until they get back to to back home.

Stacy is a nurse in the community , and will not be able to go back to work for awhile and I want to help with her bills at home, medical bills from the hospital stay and anything in between from this brutal attack. Her husband will also be out of working until she’s 100%. Until she able to get back home to her nursing job it’s up to me to do whatever I can to help stacy right now to keep stress as low as I can for her.
