Justice for Speedy G

On Thursday the 16th of April Speedy G died from injuries sustained from a brutal attack. He was attacked by a German Shepherd who lives 3 doors down from us. This dog has attacked multiple other dogs in our area but Speedy was the first death.
The owner of this dog has continued to ignore his dog's dangerous behaviour. As an irresponsible dog owner, unsurprisingly, he does not have dog insurance so we are now faced with a bill of at least £7000. I also want to take this man to small claims court which will incur costs. I also want to make Freedom of Information and Land Registry inquiries about this man but again this will incur costs.
Anyone who knows me will know that I am disinterested in money. I am raising this money now to help pay the upcoming bill but if I am successful in small claims court I will donate the equivalent amount to dog charities in Speedy G's name.
I know times are tough and I feel awful now asking people for money especially when everyone has already been so kind and supportive but any support would be greatly received.
