My friends Tyler, Steven, Sierra, and I are asking for your support as we prepare to pursue legal action arising from our encounters with the American Fork Police Department. We have retained experienced civil rights counsel to investigate and pursue all appropriate legal claims to protect our rights and seek justice.

Civil rights litigation is often lengthy, complex, and expensive. Your contributions will be used to support the litigation and related legal efforts, including, but not limited to, attorney’s fees, court costs, expert witnesses, investigators, consultants, document and record retrieval, discovery expenses, travel, technology, trial preparation, appeals, settlement-related expenses, and any other costs or expenses that we, in consultation with counsel, determine are reasonably necessary or appropriate in connection with this matter. All funds will be deposited into my account then transferred to the trust via cashier checks

Funds may also be used for other expenses, needs, or purposes arising from or relating to these events or their aftermath, as determined by our counsel in their discretion. 

Contributions will be forwarded to our attorneys, maintained in attorney trust accounts designated for this effort, and disbursed as our counsel determines is appropriate.
