Justice For Shaniqua Thomas-Choice and Family

Hello my name is Leila Marvel-Hall I am a long time friend of Shaniqua Thomas-Choice. I am helping her and her beautiful family stay afloat. Below you will read Shaniquas own words of the incidents the started the down fall of her lively hood and peace. We are asking for any assistance, anything you can muster up, anything you can bring your heart to give to this beautiful family as Shaniqua has not been able to go back to work since this incident and this has negatively affected the family. If you can help in anyway share the fundraiser or donate anything we would appreciate it.

All proceeds will be going towards the family's needs in order as they need it, food, diapers, rent, and even to try and get a lawyer for Shaniqua to get justice from her assault.

Shaniquas words:

On July 16, I asked Everett officers who claimed I ran two stop signs to bring a female officer to the scene. I was told, “It doesn’t work that way.” After insisting, my car door was held open, and I was pulled out of my vehicle in front of my children. Over five officers lay on my back for more than 25 minutes. Had I not rolled around, I would have suffocated. When my husband arrived, they told him that they “had to pull me out of my car.” He obviously disagreed.

On July 20, I asked Southboro Officer Vega to bring a female officer, and I also asked for my godparent to act as an advocate. After she agreed with the plan—and after I hung up with my godmother— Southboro officers threw a can that exploded foam and broke my window so that I could be removed from my car by force. I suffered several scars, memory lapses, back pain, and other injuries. The worst, of course, has been the psychological toll.
