Justice for San Antonio Immigrant Families: Legal Fund

In recent weeks, San Antonio has witnessed a troubling escalation in immigration enforcement. ICE agents have been arresting individuals outside the San Antonio Immigration Court, targeting those attending their scheduled hearings. Among the most harrowing incidents was the detention of a Venezuelan mother outside the courthouse. She cried out in desperation, knowing her children were in school with no one to pick them up.

This incident is not isolated. Reports have emerged of children as young as 9 being zip-tied and detained at the courthouse, even after their cases were dismissed. Such actions have instilled fear in our community, leaving families traumatized and without support.

I am launching this GoFundMe campaign to establish a long term legal fund dedicated to:
