On behalf of the Amigos de Inmigrantes de Berkley, Jefferson & Morgan Counties -

We are raising money on behalf of Salvador, a young Guatemala man in our community. On December 5th, Salvador was brutally attacked by ICE in Charles Town, WV.

Salvador was tased multiple times and hit in the head with a gun. Salvador was not resisting arrest. He had to be taken to the hospital for treatment before being sent to the local jail and subsequently to an immigration detention center in Pennsylvania.

Concerned friends have raised what they could to pay the deposit for his legal fees ($3,000) and we are hoping to raise funds to cover the rest ($3,000). We will pay any money raised directly to the law firm in Manassas, VA (Immigrants First) and post the receipts here.

Show your solidarity with Salvador, and our immigrant community, that we will not be silent observers of this kind of brutality.
