My name is Melissa Vicars and I am from Union, SC. I have been in vet med for 34 years and this is the worst abuse case that I have personally dealt with. Shaneitra Jeter left this puppy, I have loving named, Ritchie to die by her torture and neglect. The pictures are hard to look at, but they need to be seen to understand the severity of his situation. Shaneitra Jeter was arrested, after protest, just to be bonded out in 3 hours on a personal recognizance bond! I have been his personal care taker through all of his medical care and have now been his foster for 7 weeks. I want to be able to keep him, but she refuses to sign her rights away and still legally owns him which is absurd! I am now being told I owe the medical bills that are hers and legally the responsibility of Union County as this is an on going case.

The torture this poor baby went through by her is unimaginable. He was left with a trash bag tied around his abdomen for weeks severing his penis in half! He had maggots coming out of numerous injuries and was left in the heat with no shelter or water for days! It’s time for a lawyer to step in and help him and me for that matter. Please help if you’re able and share his story while she sits free!
