Yesterday, April 20th, our family’s lives were changed forever. We are heartbroken to share the news of the tragic and senseless deaths of two of our own, Ramone and Davion Henry. At 6 am, while one brother was sleeping, both were killed in their own home during an encounter with police in St. Ann. Ramone and Davion were well-known and loved in the Steerfield community, and their lives were cut short in a way that no family should ever have to endure.
Ramone and Davion were two hardworking brothers who never had any problems with the law. Ramone is the father of a one-year-old son, and he worked as a farmer and mason to provide for his family. Davion works in the USA on a work program to support his family. Just a year ago, we buried their father, who died from cancer, and now we are faced with the unimaginable task of saying goodbye to both brothers at once. The family is struggling to manage the sudden and overwhelming expenses for burial and legal fees.
St. Ann and Steerfield lost two innocent souls yesterday. We are rallying to support the Henry family with funeral and legal costs. Please click the link to donate, share, or offer a prayer for Ramone and Davion. Every bit of support counts right now.
