Justice for Prospect: Help Ben Seek Answers

My name is Ben Geyer, and I’ve had Prospect since Sept of 2018. He was 10 1/2 weeks old, and while hooked up on a Tele-Health call, my BP was too high for my nurse to enter it. She said take a few minutes, relax, find something to distract you. I opted for Facebook, and as I scrolled, I came across this video of an English Bulldog puppy running and tripping over his own paws. I started chuckling, and I hit replay, and I hit replay… well, she came back on the horn and asked, 'What are you doing?' I said, 'Nothing, just looking at Facebook.' She said that my systolic had dropped, idk, 10-15 points, and diastolic was 10. I told her about the puppy, and she said, 'If it was me, I’d go get him, that’s amazing.' And so began our journey. I was active in an MC at the time and had a young Marine at the house working for me to help him out and to help me get to know him better and get the outdoor patio that the gf wanted done. Well, I stepped outside and didn’t see him, and I yelled, 'Prospect, get over here…' The puppy beat him to the back door, and thus is the reason for his odd name!
Well, last Friday, the local PD came and seized 8 adult Grand Pyrenees and 7 puppies. Then they noticed Prospect inside the house, so they kicked in the door and took him. They left the search warrant, but that was all the info I had. I had been broken down for a little over 13 hours on 33 just north of Logan, and when I was able to find someone to come and pick me up, I went back and stopped at that friend's house to sleep after a shower. The next day, I went home to the cabin I’d been living in for six months while caring for the Grand Pyrenees, and they all were gone. I called the non-emergency number and inquired as to the location of the dogs as well as my service dog, Prospect. I was told the dog warden would call me. Instead, an officer from the PD called and said the Chief will call you Monday. Now, this was Saturday morning, and I informed them that wasn’t acceptable. My service dog had been taken as well as the dogs I was caring for. Long and short, I wasn’t allowed to know where they had my service dog or any dogs, and until enough calls had been made to cause a release, I was just stuck. Well, that call came at 8 minutes after 4, and I was at the Middleport Jail to pick up my service dog at 5:30. A little after, the Chief brought out Prospect, limp, wet, and bleeding. He had been mauled multiple times and was unresponsive. I gathered him up and loaded him into my buddy’s truck, went home, and started trying to get fluid and nutrients down him while trying to find an emergency vet. Once located, but before a ride could get to me, at 21:10, Prospect took his last breath. I am asking for help with funds for a pathologist and legal fees to get justice for one of the sweetest little buddies any person has ever had the privilege to have had in their life.
Thank you!
