Hello everyone,

I write to you with a heavy heart and in a time of great need. While it is difficult for me to ask for help, the circumstances I’m facing now require it.

As many of you know, my husband was taken by ICE on January 26th, 2025. I am limited in what I can share publicly due to an ongoing investigation, but I will say that on that day, ICE attempted to enter our home illegally— without a warrant, looking for someone who does not reside with us. Instead of respecting the law, they took my husband—an upstanding man with a clean record, who has never been in trouble.

He is the sole provider for our family and runs his own business. He is a great man and he has always been one to help others in need. Everyone who knows him will say this about him.

In the process of them taking him, he was injured and hospitalized. We have evidence to support this. While there is a video circulating that captures part of what happened, there is much more to the story that I am unable to disclose at this time. What I can share is that my son rushed to the vehicle that my husband was in because he was screaming out that he couldn’t breathe. Tragically, during this moment, the vehicle involved drove off, running over my son’s foot in the process.

Our rights have been violated, and this situation has turned our lives upside down. Beyond the legal battle that lies ahead, I am also struggling to make ends meet. My husband was our sole provider, and with him detained, I am left without the resources to pay legal fees to help him, our bills and care for my family. I am actively seeking work, but the immediate financial burden is overwhelming.

We are asking for help to cover not only legal fees for my husband’s defense but also the mounting costs of daily life that I am unable to manage at this moment. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this would mean the world to us.

Les escribo con el corazón destrozado y en un momento de gran necesidad. Aunque me resulta difícil pedir ayuda, las circunstancias que estoy viviendo ahora lo requieren.

Como muchos de ustedes saben, mi esposo fue detenido por ICE en Enero 26, 2025. Estoy limitada en lo que puedo compartir públicamente debido a una investigación en curso, pero puedo decir que ese día, ICE intentó entrar ilegalmente a nuestra casa, sin una orden, buscando a alguien que no vive con nosotros. En lugar de respetar la ley, se llevaron a mi esposo, un hombre ejemplar con un record limpio, que nunca ha tenido problemas. Él es el único proveedor de nuestra familia y tambien tiene su propio negocio. El es muy buena persona y siempre ha sido una persona dispuesta a ayudar a los demás. Todos quien lo conocen les puede decir lo mismo.

Durante el proceso en el que lo detuvieron, él fue herido y hospitalizado. Tenemos evidencia de esto. Aunque hay un video circulando que captura parte de lo sucedido, hay mucho más en la historia que no puedo revelar en este momento. Lo que sí puedo compartir es que mi hijo corrió hacia el vehículo en el que estaba mi esposo porque él gritaba que no podía respirar. Trágicamente, en ese momento, el vehículo involucrado se fue, atropellando el pie de mi hijo en el proceso.

Se han violado nuestros derechos y esta situación ha dado vuelta a nuestras vidas. Más allá de la batalla legal que tenemos por delante, también estoy luchando para pagar lo demas. Mi esposo era el único proveedor, y con él detenido, me quedo sin los recursos para pagar los pagos legales para su defensa, nuestras cuentas y el cuidado de mi familia. Estoy buscando trabajo activamente, pero la carga financiera inmediata es abrumadora.

Estamos pidiendo ayuda no solo para cubrir los pagos legales de la defensa de mi esposo, sino también los costos crecientes de la vida diaria que no puedo manejar en este momento. Cualquier contribución, por pequeña que sea, hará una gran diferencia. Si no puedes donar, compartir esto significaría el mundo para nosotros.
