On the evening of July 23, 2025, Noraima Hernandez was struck by a pickup truck as she was walking back home from her evening exercise. The driver didn't stop, leaving Noraima critically injured on Thomason Dr. in Midland, TX. She was rushed to Midland Memorial Hospital, where she is still fighting for her life.

Sadly, Noraima does not have health coverage, and this unexpected tragedy is quickly creating a heavy financial strain on her, and her family.

This fundraiser is to help her husband and children cover her hospital and treatment costs, along with any other expenses the family may face in the coming days.

The Hernandez family is leaning on their faith, their community, and the kindness of others to get through this tragedy.

Por la noche del 23 de julio de 2025, Noraima Hernández fue atropellada por una camioneta mientras regresaba a casa después de hacer ejercicio. El conductor no se detuvo, dejando a Noraima gravemente herida en la calle Thomason Dr. en Midland, Texas. Fue trasladada de urgencia al Hospital Midland Memorial, donde aún lucha por su vida.

Lamentablemente, Noraima no tiene cobertura médica, y esta inesperada tragedia está generando rápidamente una gran presión financiera para ella y su familia.
