Title:
Justice for Nakita: Fund a Forensic Expert to Review Her Injuries (£10,000 goal)
This is a call for justice — for Nakita, a profoundly disabled, non-verbal young woman who suffered serious unexplained injuries while under professional care.
On or around 18 September 2024, Nakita was found with multiple bruises and soft-tissue injuries to her face while in a regulated care facility. But despite police involvement, the official expert report has been found to fail basic standards for prosecution set by the CPS and NCA.
We are seeking to raise up to £10,000 to pay for an independent, court-recognised forensic medical expert to review the full evidence:
-Bruising pattern, timing/ageing and mechanism of injury
-Radiology scans (CT-Scan)
-Clinical and care records
-A written, signed report for police or court
How the £10,000 will be used:
Service: Estimated Cost:
- Forensic medical and injury analysis £5,000
- Expert radiology review £2,000
- Legal or safeguarding review (optional) £1,500
- Travel/admin/disbursements £1,000
- Second opinion or conference if required £500
This is not legal aid funded. There is no NHS pathway. Without this, the investigation risks being abandoned.
Nakita’s Voice Must Be Heard:
Nakita cannot speak. She cannot tell us what happened. But forensic evidence can.
We are her family and advocates, and we are determined to secure an expert report that meets the evidential bar needed to protect her — and others like her.
Your donation will go directly to this forensic expert work. We will keep supporters informed of progress at each stage.
Please Help:
Every share, every donation, brings us closer to justice. Let Nakita know she’s not forgotten. Let’s show the system that accountability matters — even when someone can’t speak for themselves.
Thank you so much.
