Justice for My Daughter's School Attack

Not long ago, my 14-year-old daughter faced a distressing situation at school. After she posted a photo on Instagram of herself, it caught the eye of a boy who liked and commented on it. This, unfortunately, angered his ex-girlfriend, who then attacked my daughter from behind, causing an injury to her eye. We quickly took her to urgent care, where they referred us to the hospital for further checks. I later met with school officials, who decided to suspend my daughter for 9 days for defending herself. A police report has been filed, but I now need to find an attorney to contest the suspension, as I want to ensure this incident doesn’t tarnish my daughter’s record. She was merely protecting herself from an unexpected assault. Unfortunately, I’m struggling to cover legal fees, so I am reaching out for donations to help us pursue justice for my daughter. The school seems indifferent to the fact that she was the victim. She has always been a dedicated honor student, actively participates in ROTC, and plays both volleyball and soccer. Her goal after graduation is to become a criminal defense attorney, and I’m worried this suspension could jeopardize her future.
