Justice for Mom: Blind After Assault
Donation protected
Hi, I am trying to get a lawyer for my mom. My mom got assaulted at her job where she worked for years and she doesn’t speak English like that and they didn’t do anything.
Her co-workers got mad because she got a raise after staying there for years and she got employment of the month because she does her job and go and beyond to do more and help others.
One of my mom friends who we use to call cousin because we are from the same tribe was fake and got mad and went and tell her coworker friends that my mom was talking behind their back. Which she wasn’t. And the coworker started bullying my mom. Started throwing garbage at my mom when they see her. And started yelling at her just because she couldn’t defend herself since she can’t speak English. One day my mom went on her break to eat and she needed to use the bathroom, so she left her food on the table and went to use the restroom and while she was away the coworker came and put poison in her food and when my mom came she was just about to take a bite someone told her what someone did. She did put it in her mouth but didn’t swallow it. The job investigated and found out it was poison and they just suspended her. And after she came back, she started harassing my mom and also threatened and one day she wet the towel with some chemicals and toxins and hit her face with it and her eyes was swollen and bruised and she couldn’t see and was rushed to the ER and now they just fired the coworker and now my mom can’t see anything or even go outside. She had 20/20 vision now she can’t even see. I don’t have a dad and I only have my mom I don’t know what to do please help me get a lawyer for my mom so I can help her I don’t wanna lost her. Her mental health is getting worse because she has been inside all the time. She started talking to herself saying they might come attack her while she in the house. And every now and then she would sit for hours and stares at the windows. She’s the only parent I have. So anything would mean a lot to us. Thank you so much!!
