Justice for Michael Grinblat: Support Needed
Donation protected
I am devastated beyond words on the unexpected loss of my beloved son, Michael Grinblat. I am humbly asking for your support in this unimaginable time. Michael disappeared under mysterious circumstances on June 25, 2024. I reported a missing person case to the police department, 70th precinct on June 27th with high hopes to get their help. However, to my surprise, the missing person case was closed on July 3rd on the ground that Michael “had returned home”. All my attempts to have the authority continue the missing person search had failed. I had no choice but to take the initiative to put posters up with my son's picture and description. In response to the post, I received a message on Facebook recommending to search the database of NAMUS - National Missing and Unidentified Person System. To my deepest sorrow, I found Michael in their database on July 23rd, 2024.
Later I found out that my son was found unconscious at the turnstile of a subway station on 59 Street Columbus Circle on June 25. He was robbed and left without any identification. Therefore, he was taken by ambulance accompanied by police to the ER of Mount Sinai Hospital as John Doe. He had a cardiac arrest. Doctors inserted a central line puncturing his vein causing internal bleeding requiring blood infusion. At which time Michael had his second cardiac arrest and he passed away.
Your generous donations will help us give him the heartfelt farewell he deserves, honoring his beautiful life and memory. Any contribution, no matter the size, will be deeply appreciated.
The funds will be used for the cost of Michael’s burial, a criminal attorney, and a forensic pathologist to further investigate Michael’s death.
Michael deserves justice and peace, and with your help and kindness, I hope this can be possible.
Any support toward these efforts will help us seek justice for my son and ensure that such a tragedy does not happen to another family.
