Hello, my name is Marqita Sheridan, and I’m asking for help during one of the most difficult moments of my life.
Recently, I was wrongfully terminated from my job in a way that has not only left me without income, but also without the ability to defend myself properly. What happened to me wasn’t just unfair; it was a misuse of power, a violation of policy, and something that no employee should ever have to experience.
I’ve always been a hardworking person who shows up with integrity, compassion, and a strong commitment to doing what is right. But now, because my employer acted unlawfully and without proper justification, I’m left fighting for my name, my record, and my future, all while being unemployed.
Why I’m Raising Funds
Legal representation is extremely expensive, and wrongful termination cases require immediate professional support. Without a steady income, I cannot afford the fees to hire an attorney and pursue the justice I deserve.
Your support will help cover:
• Legal consultation and retainer fees
• Filing costs
• Document preparation and evidence review
• Any necessary follow-up actions within the legal process
Why This Matters
This is bigger than just my story.
What happened to me can, and likely has, happened to others who felt afraid to speak up. I am choosing not to stay silent. I’m choosing to stand up so this employer understands that they cannot mistreat people, manipulate processes, or violate employee rights without accountability.
By helping me fight this, you’re helping protect future employees from experiencing the same mistreatment.
How You Can Help
Any donation, no matter the amount, will get me closer to legal representation and the justice I deserve. Even sharing this fundraiser helps tremendously.
I am deeply grateful for anyone willing to support me through this. Thank you for believing in fairness, justice, and standing up for what’s right.
With appreciation,
Marqita Sheridan
