"They killed Mom..."

The Family of Mrs. Mary Lee Ball, aka “Mama Ball”, is asking for help from you, our virtual community, to fund an independent autopsy & toxicology exam, hire a reputable legal team, and obtain an independent forensic expert for future trial testimony to prove what Mrs. Ball’s actual cause of death is and how she exactly died the morning of January 9, 2023. The hospital has yet to provide a certificate stating her cause of death. When the Family inquired on Friday 1/13/2023, they were verbally informed that she died of “Natural Causes”. The family KNOWS this to not be true.

The Family witnessed the overmedication of a paralytic agent, as well as the sedation of the opioids Fentanyl & Propofol and the negligent treatment of Mrs. Ball. She received a steady drip of Fentanyl AND Propofol for over TWELVE consecutive days. Those very strong drugs (along with a combination of other drugs and medications) were too much for her body to handle. Mrs. Ball already had pre-existing conditions including isolated sleep paralysis. Those conditions were repeatedly explained to the hospital by Mrs. Ball and her family. Concerns were expressed by Mrs. Ball and the family, yet the drugs were still administered. The family then asked for alternate less invasive medications to be given to her for treatment, because she had been on the opioids for 2 weeks, and they were denied.

All of Mrs. Ball’s tests, including MRI and EEG were found to be NORMAL, yet Doctors on her case mercilessly dogged her Family to end her life (aka provide "Comfort Care"). Mrs. Ball was physically disabled and yet she was constantly denied the request of having her 'support person' be with her. Had her support person been with her to oversee her initial care, her support person would have been able to speak up and advocate on Mrs. Ball's behalf. Mrs. Ball would not have been overmedicated, nor her needs neglected, and would still be alive today.

The opioids that were administered to Mrs. Ball overly and permanently sedated her. Mrs. Ball was never allowed time to properly recover from her long sedation period or the paralytic agent. Subsequently, she never regained consciousness. When the Family inquired as to why she never awakened, they were never given a reason. All the family knows is that their Mom was piled continuously with lethal opioids. When the family asked for the oversaturation and abuse of opioids to stop, their requests were ignored. Mrs. Ball was administered a steady drip of Propofol until some hours before she died.

There are many inconsistencies regarding Mrs. Ball's diagnosis, treatment, and cause of death. Her family is merely seeking the truth, and if needed, will be requesting that a court decide what her actual cause of death is. PLEASE, please help us...

This is not a story of delusion, nor is this a Family who is living in denial. This is the truth about a Family who, until this day, have been misinformed and lied to by the hospital and who are simply requesting the true events of what transpired and led to Mrs. Ball’s unavoidable death be revealed. We ask that you please help us bring her truth to light. We will continue to provide this page with information as it is revealed to us. Details of our Mom's hospital ordeal will be forthcoming. Mama Ball was truly LOVED by all that knew her. We miss you Mama.
