Justice for Luz Esther Arroyo – Support Her Family
On September 14, 2025, our beloved Luz Esther Arroyo was tragically taken from us in Fayetteville at the age of 64. Luz’s passing was not the result of illness or natural causes—her life was cut short by a senseless act of violence. While an arrest has been made, the ripples of this tragedy will be felt forever by her family and community.
Born in Puerto Rico, Luz built a life full of love, strength, and generosity. She worked as a Fitness Instructor at Fort Bragg, inspiring countless people to live healthier and fuller lives. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who loved to cook, dance, and travel. Luz lived by her own words: “Life is short, live it to the maximum”—and she truly did.
Now, her children—Elvin, Pedro, and Deborah—her grandchildren, Cash and Julian, and her brothers, Luis and Walter, are left not only to grieve but also to endure the ongoing weight of court proceedings and the painful reminders of how her life was taken. On top of their heartbreak, they must also face unexpected financial challenges in the aftermath of this tragedy.
We are asking for the community’s support in two ways:
1. Donations – Our goal is to raise $30,000 to help cover funeral expenses, provide stability for her family, and give them the strength to walk through both their grief and the legal process ahead.
2. Advocacy – By reaching out to the Fayetteville Police Department and urging them to prioritize Luz’s case, so her family can see justice move forward without delay.
Every donation, every share, every call for justice matters. Together, we can honor Luz’s memory, support her family, and stand with them as they fight for healing and accountability.
