My name is Xavier Richardson, and I am raising funds on behalf of my family after the tragic death of my brother, Lonnie Moore.
Lonnie was found shot to death in New Caney, Texas, on June 15, 2025/Father’s Day, and after a lengthy investigation, authorities announced an arrest in connection with his death. The killer was his wife Bre’yanai Moore
Our family is still trying to process this unimaginable tragedy. In the midst of our grief, we are now fighting for something that matters deeply to all of us: custody of Lonnie’s young daughter, Lauren Moore.
This fundraiser is to help cover attorney fees and legal costs so we can pursue custody and make sure Lauren is placed in a safe, loving, and stable environment. She has already endured the painful loss of her father, and we want to do everything in our power to protect her and give her the care, support, and future she deserves.
Lonnie was not just a victim in a news story. He was my brother. He was loved. He was a father whose daughter still needs him, and although we cannot bring him back, we can fight for the child he left behind.
