Justice for Kyle: Help Us Find the Truth
Hi everyone,
My name is Brandy, and I’m Kyle’s sister. We are raising funds to help cover the cost of a second autopsy for our beloved brother, as well as potential legal support. Kyle passed away under suspicious circumstances on June 23rd while in custody at Bibb County Jail in Macon, Georgia. Our family is devastated, and we are seeking answers, justice, and accountability.
What Happened
Kyle’s death was sudden, unexplained, and heartbreaking for all of us who loved him. We do not believe he would have taken his own life, if that’s even what truly happened, had he been held in a safe, controlled, and humane environment.
We want the truth. We want transparency. We want to honor Kyle’s life.
️Who Kyle Was
Kyle was so much more than a statistic.
He was a son, a brother, a husband, an uncle, and a friend.
He was a human being with a future, with dreams, and with people who loved him deeply.
Yes, he struggled with addiction, but that never defined him. His life mattered. He deserved care, dignity, and safety.
⚠️ What’s Been Happening at Bibb County Jail
Sadly, Kyle is not the only one. Bibb County Jail has a long, disturbing history of violence, neglect, and tragedy. Here are just a few examples from recent years:
Mario Clark, 36, died of overdose after calling for help and the officers took over an hour to respond on June 16, 2025
Multiple stabbings on June 4, 2025 — one was fatal
Three women hospitalized from overdoses in May
George Oliver Crafter, 62, found dead in his cell in April
A 21-year-old burned all over his face in a boiling water attack in April 2025
Another inmate collapsed and died in custody earlier this year
Stephen Fossett died after being Tased by guards in 2024
Four inmates escaped in October 2023
Carlos Shelley found dead in his cell in 2022
A deputy was murdered in 2021
Reports of inmates being tortured, sexually assaulted, and robbed for Cash App money, brutality from officers and other inmates, lack of medical care, overcrowding with inmates sleeping on floors, minimal food and clean water scarcity, rat infestations, sanitation issues, court delays, and suspected suicides
This jail has failed inmates and staff for over a decade—and now we’ve lost someone we love too.
Where Your Support Goes
Your donations will help cover:
- Independent autopsy costs
- Legal consultations
- Any remaining funds will help our family lay our beautiful brother to rest.
No amount is too small. Even sharing this page helps keep Kyle’s story alive and brings us one step closer to the truth.
Thank You
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for reading, supporting, and standing with us.
We will not let Kyle be forgotten, and we will not stop until the truth is known.
We pray no other family has to endure this kind of pain. Pain caused by the negligence, corruption, and inhumanity within Bibb County Jail. This isn’t a maximum-security prison, it’s a county jail. And yet, it continues to be a place of suffering, silence, and systemic failure.
With love and gratitude,
Brandy & Family
