Justice for Kiwi: Help Us Fight Negligence

Negligent dog owners training dogs to kill family members.

This small cat's name is Kiwi, and she was born blind and with many deficiencies, many of which were too expensive to test and pay to treat. I stumbled upon her on a rainy day roughly 5 years ago as a little kitten. People are known to rid themselves of accidental kittens on my road frequently. Some how she found her way up our steps hiding out of the rain. I have loved kiwi ever since. She's always been an indoor, outdoor cat, coming and going as she pleases at her leasurly pace to make sure she doesnt run into anything too fast. Never had a problem with any of my cats getting hurt, including her. Until today. Owners of two large dogs live a mile up the road. They let their dogs roam around too, but for a different reason i'll mention momentarily. Today their dogs were out, and more than a mile from their home. They were walking along my grandmothers yard, then see kiwi sleeping on the lower deck. You can see in the photo when they notice and begin sprinting towards her. Confused and terrified, she tried running away. Blind kiwi made her best effort climbing the steps as fast as she could to get into the safety of her homemade cat house. She made it 3 steps from the top where she was then grab by both dogs and shaken rapidly as she was taken dragged down. There are claw marks down the steps and her broken nails. The owners of the dogs are seen on camera shortly after (not shown for legal purposes) of a man pulling up in a chevy pick up with lumber in the back getting his dog, putting it in the back of his truck and driving away.

When confronting the owners, they came straight out and said they raise and use their dogs to go out and kill wandering pets around, apparently up to over a mile away.

8 cats, 3 full grown deer, and even the owners own dog when they tried getting a new addition all got killed by these two dogs.

I am going to attempt fully pursuing a case to get these animals either taken from the home, put down, whatever it takes to save other's pets. I dont know if its possible, but the owners need to either go to prison for killing other's family members or not allowed to have any animals.

Kiwi was helpless in that situation. She didnt deserve that whatsoever, and for the last thing to have go through her head being how scared and in pain she was is a fate only good enough for the owners of the dogs.

Already put in a report, it will be expensive to go through with all of this, but Kiwi deserves it, and those people deserve to rot.
