On December 17, 2025, my entire life changed forever when my son, Kendall, was killed. Since that day, I have been fighting for justice for my child while trying to hold my family together. I am now being forced to hire an attorney because I feel the system has failed my son from the very beginning. My son's death was ruled a homicide after he was shot in the heart, yet the person responsible was released on bond. There are still so many unanswered questions, and I continue to fight every day to make sure my son's voice is heard and that another family does not have to endure what we are experiencing. The challenges have continued to pile up. On April 18, I received a call that my other son had been thrown from the back of a truck, and I am still fighting with the insurance company over that situation. Then on May 13, I suffered a broken wrist after a fall, leaving me unable to work the way I once could. I have no PTO available, have lost work hours, and still have bills to pay while caring for my younger son. Throughout my life, I have always tried to help others. I have paid rent for single mothers facing eviction, provided food to families in need, volunteered my time, and donated whenever I could. Today, I am humbly asking for help. The funds raised will help cover legal expenses, lost income, medical expenses, and allow me to continue advocating for Kendall and supporting other families who find themselves fighting for justice.
