Our family lost someone we love deeply — Keisha, my sister — and the way we lost her is something I still can’t fully wrap my mind around. Keisha wasn’t just a name on a medical chart. She was a mom, a grandmother, and someone who deserved dignity, respect, and proper care. Instead, she was over-medicated against her will, pressured into signing a DNR while sedated, and left to choke while ten hospital staff stood by and did nothing. Four different healthcare facilities failed her — Facility 1, Facility 2, Facility 3, and Facility 4 — and we are determined to hold every single one of them accountable.

Our family is pursuing a wrongful death claim under Georgia law, and we need expert witnesses, legal fees, and court costs to take on four major institutions. We will not let them bury what they did to Keisha. But this fight isn’t just about the courts. While we fight for justice, her children and grandchildren still need stability, love, and support. Keisha should be here with them. Since she can’t be, we want to make sure they’re taken care of — that’s what she would have wanted.
