Hi everyone, my name is Kamal.

If you know me, you probably know me as your favorite driver and friend. For years, I’ve been helping people in Iowa City get where they need to go safely—whether it’s making sure you get home after a night out so you are not driving drunk, helping with rides when you needed one, or just being there with a smile and good energy. My goal has always been simple: keep the community safe and make sure everyone can enjoy life without worry.

Unfortunately, I’m now facing a legal case that should never have been brought against me. To continue fighting for my future, I need to raise $10,000 for legal fees. This situation has put me in a really difficult spot, but I believe in standing up for what’s right—and I know I can’t do it alone.

I’ve been proud to give back to this community over the years, and now I’m humbly asking for your support. Every contribution, big or small, will go directly toward covering legal expenses so I can put this behind me and get back to doing what I love most: helping people, driving safely, and making Iowa City a better place for all of us.
