Monday, January 26th, 2026, my 4 daughters, ages 11-15, were at home doing online school because they had a snow day. My daughter Lily was venting to one of her friends on a monitored school computer. The conversation was red-flagged, and the school tried to contact me. I was at work at Wegmans with my phone in my locker. My boyfriend Chase came to my work and told me that the police keep calling about the girls. ASAP, I called my daughters to talk to them and confirm everything was fine. I then contacted the school and told them everything was OK and that it was a miscommunication and a voice auto-correction on her computer to her friend, which she was venting to. I told them Lily's OK and nothing's wrong. They told me OK, they would cancel the wellness check and would email everyone and also call the state troopers in the mix of everything. She told me everything was good, so I assumed it was all taken care of and that I did not need to call the state trooper, and I went back to work.

That evening, a few hours later, I got off of work. Chase picked me up. We started heading home, and I got a phone call screaming from my daughters saying that my dog was shot, and there's blood everywhere, and they can't find my daughter Kimberly. They keep calling for her, and they can't find her. I thought someone broke in and took my daughter and killed my dog, so I better call the police. I found out then that it was a state trooper that shot my dog, and I got told by the woman who is calling on 911 that I needed to calm down and I needed to be done. The dog needed to be put down, she said. The trooper said he believed Kimberly, who is 60 pounds and 11 years old, was me. He kept telling her to open the door. She was intimidated by him and couldn't hear well, so she cracked the door open. The officer then began to push forward into the home!!! My 2 dogs rushed to the door! As they had EVERY RIGHT!!! Kimberly says the officer kicked at the dogs and told her to hold them back before pulling out his weapon and firing it 3-5 feet away from her into my sweet baby Kada. Then he let Kada run around the house until she bled out and died while instructing Kimberly to step outside with him in the snow without shoes or a coat to not be around "the dog" as he kept calling it while it was dying. I said my dog wouldn't bite anyone unless provoked; she wouldn't do anything like that. The kids play so rough with her, and she never bites them, so there had to be something else. I did not know this man made his way into my house, and my dog was trying to defend my daughter. He opened my gate, then intimidated an 11-year-old to gain entry to my home and execute our family member right in their own home!!! This man had no business in my home! There were no adults home or anyone over 15, for that matter! Our hearts are crushed. Nothing will bring Kada back! Kada was a special dog in everyone that knew her eyes. But she was Chase's entire family for years. He is absolutely devastated and wishes he would have been there to take the bullet. She was protecting the babies, and I can imagine so scared She should have grown old! Our other dog Bambi ran away scared and is alive and just as broken! My ex is in prison for firing a gun at me in this very house and abusing these same children before Chase and Kada came into our lives! They already have PTSD. This same very trooper told me that he remembered me from when they arrested my ex over shooting at me and abusing my children. So let's kill their best friend? You're a real Evil one, Hunter M. Hall. The last thing from a hero. You are a coward and a killer. You are what's wrong with this world! You give the police a bad name! You're what's wrong with the world. POLICE BRUTALITY! ABUSE OF POWER! NO CARE FOR ANYONE EXCEPT YOURSELF!!! EVIL!!! My children will never trust an officer again

We are fundraising to cover the costs of legal fees and therapy for my daughters, who are traumatized by this event. This fundraiser is for my daughters and our family to help us cope with the loss of our beloved dog Kada and to seek justice for the wrongful actions of the state trooper.
