This morning my amazing dad, Julio was kidnapped by ICE as he was getting home from his night job, and about to get ready to take me to my nursing school clinicals. My dad has been in this country for 35 years. He’s been a cook at many different restaurants like Santo Taco in Salt Lake City and Javier’s in Ogden. He loves to play soccer and goes to Calle to play with the community. Just like the rest of us, he’s been watching the world cup and rooting for Mexico. He works two jobs to help support my brother as we get our college degrees. My dad is a hardworking man who loves his community and has shown up for his community countless times.

We are demanding that my dad get his due process. He was already in the process of having his case reviewed, had filed petitions, and was in
