Help Us Lay Josh to Rest & Bring His Kids Together to Say Goodbye

As many of you may have already heard, our beloved Josh was tragically shot on Wednesday 8/27/25 . He fought for his life in the hospital until Sunday 8/31/25, when he was heartbreakingly taken off life support due to the absence of brain activity.

Josh leaves behind 8 beautiful children, a devoted sister, a niece, a nephew, and many more family members and close friends who are left devastated by this unimaginable loss. This tragedy was sudden and senseless — something no one could have prepared for.

To make things even more painful, the person responsible is still walking free, and our family is left not only grieving but also waiting for justice.

Josh was known and loved by many. He had a huge heart and a deep passion for helping others — especially the homeless. Most recently, he worked at Jesus Saves, dedicating his time to making a difference in people’s lives. He had a special way with kids and always brought joy and laughter wherever he went.

We’re asking for your support during this incredibly difficult time. Donations will go toward:

• Covering the cost of Josh’s funeral and memorial services

• Helping bring all of his children to Colorado so they can say goodbye to their dad

• Supporting the family as they grieve and navigate the next steps
