Help Us Bring Our Loved One Home
We are reaching out during an incredibly difficult time for our family. Our loved one, Jose Diaz, has been wrongfully detained by ICE, and we are now facing urgent legal expenses to fight their case and secure their release.
Jose has been a dedicated carpenter for 20+ years, and has been working hard to help provide for his wife, 2 daughters, and grandchildren. Jose was racially profiled by legal authorities on April 8, 2026, while he was in route to work in West Virginia, and was sent to an ICE detainment center by the sheriffs department .
Jose is a devoted Father& Grandfather, a valued member of our community, and someone who means the world to us. This situation has turned our lives upside down, and we are doing everything we can to ensure he can receive fair treatment and proper legal representation.
We have started this fundraiser to help cover the cost of an experienced immigration attorney, filing fees, and other related legal expenses. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to justice & bringing our beloved Jose home.
For the privacy of the family, please do not share this link/post on social media, but please send this link to any friend, family member, and colleague that you may know to please help us. Anything helps & we are truly appreciative of the kind efforts!
If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this fundraiser with others. Your support, prayers, and solidarity mean more than we can express.
Goal: $25,000
Thank you for standing with our family during this time.
With gratitude,
