Justice for Jim – Billboard Campaign to Stop Reckless Driving
On September 29th, 2025, our dad, Jim Bolger, was tragically killed on Highway 101 near Conley street, Timmins, Ontario by a reckless driver.
He had pulled over safely onto the shoulder with his four-way lights on and was looking in his trunk when a driver — trying to pass on the shoulder — struck and killed him.
Our family’s lives were shattered that day. A loving father, poppa, brother, friend, and community member was taken from us in a senseless and preventable act of recklessness.
We are starting this GoFundMe to raise money for a Justice for Jim memorial billboard.
Our goal is to raise awareness about reckless driving and remind others to slow down, drive safely, and respect the law — so no other family has to endure this kind of loss.
The billboard will also feature Andrew’s Law, which calls for stiffer penalties for reckless drivers.
We want to use our dad’s story to push for change — because it’s not enough to mourn; we need action, accountability, and safer roads for everyone.
Your donations will go toward:
Creating and maintaining the Justice for Jim billboard near Highway 101
Promoting Andrew’s Law and supporting awareness campaigns
Honoring our dad’s memory through continued road safety advocacy
Please consider donating or sharing this page to help us spread awareness and fight for justice — for Jim, and for every life lost to reckless driving.
Justice for Jim. Speed kills — drive safely.
Together, we can make a difference.
