I appreciate everyone who will take the time to read this. My little cousin, James Harris, affectionately known as "Jay," had his life stolen from him by a drunk driver.

On October 4th, 2025, Jay was walking on the sidewalk near his home on his way from work when a negligent driver jumped the curb, struck him, and drove into a building. After many days in critical condition with a severe head injury, his fight ended on Oct 15th, 2025, two days after his 23rd birthday.

He didn't get to enjoy his birthday because he was in a coma fighting for his life. His adult life was just beginning. He won't get to pursue his lifelong dreams of becoming an actor and singer. He won't get to marry, have children, or grow old. He was so full of life, but someone robbed him of that. His family loves him and will miss him. James leaves behind his mother and two sisters. He was the only boy and also the baby of the family. Juggling arrangements, medical bills, and grieving, this is truly a stressful time. We graciously ask for any support while we work to get justice for our loved one’s wrongful death.
