Help Support Jaxy Olson After a Tragic Hit-and-Run

On the night of Friday, May 10th, just before 10 PM in Pella, Iowa, Jaxy Olson’s life changed in an instant.

While leaving work on her brand-new motorcycle—which she had purchased with her life savings—Jaxy was intentionally struck multiple times from behind by a 2017 Honda Accord. The impact threw her from the bike, leaving her seriously injured. She was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, where she received emergency care.

Jaxy is now recovering at home, but her road to healing will be long.

A December 2024 graduate of Pella High School, Jaxy has always been driven, responsible, and full of ambition. She had just secured a second job at Pella Corp to help fund her future plans of moving to Colorado for school—a dream she’s worked incredibly hard to achieve.

Now, she’s dealing with:

Due to the intentional nature of the incident, Jaxy and her family are pursuing legal action to seek justice—which brings additional financial strain. We are asking for support to help ease the burden during this incredibly difficult time.

Funds raised will go toward:

• Medical expenses and ongoing care

• Legal and attorney fees

• Replacing her motorcycle

• Covering basic living expenses while she heals

• Supporting her educational goals in Colorado
